PHIPS

Particle Habit Imaging and Polar Scattering (PHIPS) probe.

This unique airborne cloud probe combines stereo microscopic imaging with angular light scattering measurements on individual particles.

PAAS optic
PAAS-4λ

Four wavelengths Photoacoustic Aerosol Absorption Spectrometer (PAAS-4λ).
Non-intrusive, direct measurement of the aerosol absorption coefficient at up to four distinct wavelength in the visible spectral region.

HACP

Hyper-Angular Cloud Polarimeter (HACP).

Measures the angular light scattering of (ambient) cloud particles (water droplets and ice crystals).

BENCH TESTING

Operating instruments in remote locations or on challenging research platforms like aircrafts, requires an optimal and specific preparation of the instrument settings on the bench.
