Personal data (hereinafter mostly referred to as "data") are processed by schnaiTEC only in the context of the necessity and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website.
In accordance with Article 4 (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the 'GDPR'), 'processing' means any operation or series of operations carried out (with or without the aid of automated procedures) on personal data, such as collecting and storing but also restricting and deleting.
With the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the nature, scope, purpose, duration and legal basis of the processing of personal data, as far as schnaiTEC decides on the purposes and means of this processing. In addition, we inform you about third-party components that we use on our website for optimisation and usability purposes. Please note that third parties process data in their own responsibility.

II. Rights of users and data subjects
With regard to the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right, subject to the applicable conditions,
- for confirmation whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed, and access to those data (see also Art. 15 GDPR);
- for correction of incorrect or incomplete data (see also Art. 16 GDPR);
- for deletion of data concerning him or her (see also Art. 17 GDPR), or restriction of processing where the conditions in Art. 18 GDPR are met;
- for receipt of data provided to a controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and transmission to another controller, where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract (see also Art. 20 GDPR);
- to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, in case they consider that their data are processed by the provider in breach of the data protection provisions (see also Art. 77 GDPR).
In addition, the provider is obliged to inform any recipients, to whom data has been disclosed, about data correction, deletion or restriction according to Articles 16, 17 (1), and 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not exist in case the notification is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. The user has the right to get information about these recipients.
Likewise, according to Art. 21 GDPR, users and data subjects have the right to object to processing of their data based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR on grounds relating to their particular situation. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permitted. Where processing relies on consent, that consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

III. Information about connection and data processing
Connection
This website uses HTTPS by default. HTTPS encrypts information sent between a client and a web service. It provides:
- Confidentiality. The visitor's connection is encrypted, protecting information sent through that connection.
- Authenticity. The connection helps verify the identity of the website's server.
- Integrity. The connection protects data sent between the visitor and the website from tampering in transit.
Data processing
Your data that is processed during the use of our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage is omitted and the deletion of the data does not conflict with statutory storage obligations.
Server Logs
A visit to our website results in a ‘communication’ between your internet browser and the web server at our web service provider. During this ‘communication’, technical request information may be logged, such as the type and version of your internet browser, operating system, referrer URL, pages visited, date and time of access and IP address.
This processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our website. Hosting information is processed for service delivery, maintenance, support and security under the applicable hosting terms.
Hosting and service providers
The site is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. OpenAI processes hosted data on our behalf under the applicable data-processing terms and uses service providers to operate the infrastructure. Authorised company personnel and providers supporting website hosting or business correspondence may handle information needed for those purposes.
Where access to this shared site requires sign-in, the hosting platform manages authentication and access. OpenAI’s handling of your separate account is described in its European privacy policy.

Contact requests
If you contact us via email, the data you provide will be used to process your request. The specification of the data is necessary for processing and answering your inquiry — without their provision we cannot answer your inquiry or at best only to a limited extent. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for steps you request before entering a contract, or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for other business correspondence. This website does not contain a contact form.
Your data will be deleted, provided that your request has been finally answered and the deletion is not in conflict with any statutory storage regulations, e.g. as in case of subsequent contract processing.
Visitor analytics
ChatGPT Sites, our hosting platform, automatically records website traffic and provides statistics showing total unique visitors and page views, including how these figures change over time. These statistics help us understand how the website is used and improve its content.
